FBD Hotels & Resorts

In 2011, we acquired a 50% stake in FBD Property & Leisure Ltd, a group then operating a collection of 5 Hotels in Ireland and Spain under the FBD Hotels and Resorts brand.  In October 2015 we took the opportunity to acquire 100% of this business from FBD Holdings plc.

The Group is directed by the CEO of FBD Hotels & Resorts, David Kelly. 

In Ireland, the Group currently owns and operates four hotels including the 4 star Castleknock Hotel in Dublin, the 4 star Faithlegg Resort in County Waterford the Heritage Hotel and Spa, Killenard, Co. Laois and the recently acquired Killashee Hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare. 

In Southern Spain, the Group owns and operates the 4 star and award winning Sunset Beach Club Resort in Benalmadena, Costa del Sol, and the well-known golf, hotel, spa and residential property known as La Cala Resort in Mijas, Costa del Sol.

The Group also engages in residential joint venture property development at La Cala Resort in Southern Spain with Taylor Wimpey plc.
